Terms of Service
Last updated: May 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ZeroBrew iOS application and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by Hicham Badri, an individual based in Morocco ("ZeroBrew", "we", "us"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ZeroBrew, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. ZeroBrew is intended for adult users who are choosing to reduce or eliminate caffeine consumption. Do not use ZeroBrew if you have been advised by a healthcare professional to maintain a specific caffeine intake, or if reducing caffeine could interfere with your health for any reason.
The Service
ZeroBrew is a personal tracking and habit-reduction tool. It helps you log your caffeine intake, follow a personalized taper plan, and observe trends in your sleep, energy, mood, and savings. It is provided as software for informational and self-tracking purposes only.
Health disclaimer
ZeroBrew is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The taper plans, suggested targets, withdrawal information, and any other content in the Service are educational and reflect general information about caffeine — they are not personalized medical recommendations.
If you have any medical condition, take medication that interacts with caffeine, are pregnant or nursing, or have concerns about reducing caffeine, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using ZeroBrew or making changes to your caffeine intake. Don't ignore or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read or saw in the app.
You use ZeroBrew at your own risk. By using it, you acknowledge that ZeroBrew is not responsible for any health outcomes — positive or negative — that you experience while reducing caffeine.
Subscriptions and free trial
ZeroBrew offers paid subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store. The current options are presented in the app at the point of purchase.
Free trial
New users may be offered a free trial period (typically three days) before the first charge. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID will be charged at the price displayed at signup.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The renewal price will be the same as the most recent billing period unless we notify you of a price change in advance.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → ZeroBrew. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you'll keep access until then but won't be charged again.
Refunds
Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue refunds directly. If you believe you've been charged in error, please email us at hicham.badri27@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help you resolve it through Apple.
Acceptable use
When using ZeroBrew, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Bypass or attempt to bypass any subscription, technical, or security measure
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app or your subscription
Intellectual property
The ZeroBrew app, name, logo, design, copy, and all related materials are the property of Hicham Badri and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes for as long as you comply with these Terms.
The data you generate inside the app (your logs, check-ins, plan settings) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your personal data.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific health outcome will result from its use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will ZeroBrew, Hicham Badri, or any of our agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and (if applicable) cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that causes harm to other users, to us, or to third parties.
Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes that affect your subscription or how you use the app.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will surface a notice in the app or on this website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
